In Malachi 3:16 it says "...those who feared the Lord spoke with one another." This letter is meant to generate genuine conversation with those who I consider friends, family, acquaintances and co-laborers. I know what you're thinking: "Why not Facebook, Twitter, Google+, LinkedIn or some other social media platform?"

The reason is simple: they're all so impersonal. Each of the social media outlets that I use allow me to share generally, but not intimately. Those who subscribe to this letter will get regular updates on what's happening with our Family, Community Baptist Church, and with Diligence Applied Ministries. You will also receive prayer requests and praises of how God is working in both the ministries and the family. From time to time, you'll receive an exclusive article from my personal devotions or life experiences. These will not be published anywhere else.

Malachi 3:16 goes on to say "The Lord paid attention and heard them, and a book of remembrance was written before him of those who feared the Lord and esteemed his name." Let this be our "book of remembrance" as we who fear the Lord speak one to another.
